Our Coding and Game Design Enrichment Program for 5th thru 8th graders offers a unique and engaging opportunity for students to dive into the world of game development. This class is designed to foster creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration while introducing essential STEM concepts.
Key Components:
- Introduction to Coding and Game Design: Students will learn the fundamentals of coding and game design, including storyboarding, character development, and game mechanics.
- Hands-On Learning: Using kid-friendly software and tools, students will create their own games, bringing their ideas to life through coding and graphic design.
- STEM Integration: The program emphasizes STEM principles such as logic, mathematics, and technology, ensuring that students not only have fun but also gain valuable skills.
- Collaborative Environment: Students will work in teams to brainstorm, design, and test their games, enhancing their teamwork and communication skills.

This after school program meets once a week after school at GLOBE.
When: Every Friday at 4 pm to 5 pm
Space is limited with a maximum of 20 students and a minimum of 10.

If you sign up, are approved for, and pay for a session, we will NOT offer a refund if you change your mind or unenroll from the school later.
